Community Agreement
TheDrawingStudio is a creative environment where students are encouraged to embrace trying new things and be open to the discomfort of not knowing. This type of judgment-free environment requires the studio be free of harassment, discrimination, sexism, and threatening or disrespectful behavior, whether in person or online. The Studio reserves the right to expel, suspend, or cancel admission to classes at any time for any student who engages in prohibited conduct. The Studio strives for a sense of belonging for all, and for the students to feel heard, and seen and valued just as they are. We aim to be useful, mindful, and specific in our art dialogues, and to support one another, while withstanding some discomfort of the unknown or the awkward. The Studio is committed to freedom of inquiry, while valuing civility and mutual respect.
